Since our launch in 2005, Spun Academy has always had a "think big and act small" mentality. Due to popular demand and two years of planning, Spun Academy is acting bigger and coming to Seattle! Numerous, dedicated musicians ride the train or drive to Spun Academy every week from Seattle to Portland for a two hour session, but now we are coming to you. We are proud to offer our programs and services along with our complete network of corporate sponsors and charitable activities to you, Seattle. If you are interested in any of the aforementioned, contact me today. We are just breaking ground and there are many opportunities for you and your company to take your music dreams to the next level. The time to move on this is now!
The events simply requests a ten dollar donation, but if you are a true music lover without a dime...you will be welcomed with open arms. Surprise celebrity artists will be announced closer to the dates of the events, but just to give you an idea; We recently sponsored an event with Grand Master Flash and brought Darude (producer of the smash hit single, Sandstorm) back to Portland. The greater the response and reserved seats that come in...the more amazing the talent we will book out. So spread the word to EVERYONE that you know and ask them to do the same.
These workshops are fine tuned, streamlined, and action packed. You don't know the meaning of accelerated program until you visit one of our workshops or register for sessions! Whether you are a DJ, Music Producer, Agent, Promoter, General Manager or the likes, we have something for every person as dedicated as we are. We are extremely family oriented in our programs and events. All ages are welcome at this point! We put a sixty-eight year old retired chemist through our program and eight months from the day that I shook his hand he had a released a copy-written, UPC coded, listed on itunes album. He was also featured in the Oregonian, Willamette Week, Mercury, and spotlighted in Future Music Magazine at international newsstands!
After careful consideration and a week long discussion, contracts were signed yesterday placing the President of Spun Academy - Seattle. We are fully confident in his ability and network in the Seattle metropolitan area to ensure great success of our newest satellite location. Spun Academy is giving him the ability to make changes, upgrades, hire, promote, and much more.So come one, come all. It's time to take your love for music to the next level.
