Spun DJ Academy, also known as (dba) Spun Academy, Legal Bulletins
STUDENT CONDUCT -- Spun DJ Academy reserves the right to remove a student when behavior, conduct or personality is deemed inappropriate. There will be no refund in this case. The right to appeal is available and will be held in front of the Board of Directors for approval.
ACCESS TO BUILDING -- Students will have access to premises used by Spun DJ Academy for the times of their courses. The Academy reserves the right to refuse access to the premises if the behavior, conduct or personality of a student interferes with the operation of the Academy or the comfort of other students. Guest may only be admitted to the premises by prior written consent from Spun DJ Academy. This includes, but is not limited to, courses, graduation events, and showcases. The Academy reserves the right to refuse access to the premises if the behavior, conduct, or personality of a guest interferes with the operation of the Academy or the comfort of other students.
EQUIPMENT – Students, Education Partners, Instructors and/or any affiliate of Spun DJ Academy are responsible for the equipment they are issued or use for any purpose. Each student is responsible for ensuring that stolen, lost, or damaged equipment is immediately reported to Spun DJ Academy. Deposits placed on equipment will be held for the duration of use anywhere off campus. Equipment may not be used for events, projects, demonstrations, or personal use unrelated to Spun DJ Academy. Equipment is continuously monitored. Any deviation from these guidelines will be dealt with by the Board of Directors in a case-by-case format.
ABSENCE -- Student that will be unable to attend their allotted course must notify Spun DJ Academy one week in advance. This may be done by email or postmarked letter. Upon following this format, courses can be rescheduled at the discretion of Spun DJ Academy.
REGISTRATION -- Full payment of each course is due fourteen days in advance. If payment is not received within the fourteen-day time frame, that student will forfeit their seat.
SCHEDULING AND TUITION -- Spun DJ Academy reserves the right to change the dates, times, prices, and content of the courses.
CANCELATION -- A request to cancel enrollment in any course must be received two weeks in advance in written postmarked form. The two week period is necessary in assigning a new student to the empty seat.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY -- The intellectual property rights (including without limitation: registered designs, copyrights, database rights, service marks, applications to register any of the aforementioned rights, trade secrets and know how) in Spun DJ Academy’s courses, materials, brochures, other advertising materials and website are and shall remain the exclusive property of Spun DJ Academy.

Spun Academy will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender or ethnic origin in the hiring of its certified or non-certified personnel. Spun Academy is committed to providing a work and campus environment free from all forms of discriminatory intimidation or harassment. All complaints will result in prompt and thorough investigation and appropriate disciplinary action if warranted. Complaints will be kept as confidential as possible. The college will not tolerate retaliation against employees or students who report incidents of discrimination or sexual harassment, or those who participate in college investigations of alleged discrimination or harassment.
