A friend asked me to DJ her wedding last weekend and it went awesome. I've been practicing a lot of mixes with serato and for the most part pulled them all off (ok, so there was a train wreck or two, but hey, I haven't been doing this that long!).
After I laid down a pretty seamless mix, my friends overheard a girl on the dance floor saying "he's not playing CD's, he's an actual dj!". Got to admit that it felt pretty good to hear that :)
Just wanted to thank you for all your help and instruction over the last 6 months!
