It's great to hear from you. Is the school doing well?

I've made THREE CDs since I landed in Maine a year ago. We're leaving the woods and moving to Portland, Maine, in a week. I'm teaching private music lessons, but will be looking to build a roster of students to teach once we hit the city. (Yeah, right. Big TOWN, maybe.)

Every time someone asks me, "How did you DO that?" I always get a chance to plug Spun. It's amazing to me how far behind people are here with regards to music. I picked up an MC-808 a few months ago and am trying to figure out the best way to incorporate it into my live performance. (The people at the music store were like, "What do you with it? Push buttons?" I often feel like I'm justifying the use of multitrack tape to someone who will ONLY record music live and straight to acetate. What century is this, anyway?)
