I wanted to let you know about a couple of shows and other things coming up with regards to my music.

First off, I will be playing at BLUE in Portland next THURSDAY, August 28th @ 8PM. If you're in the area it would be absolutely great to see you.

Second, I have finished my third CD this year. The title is "the.ist"

and while I've yet to get it up and running on CD Baby, iTunes, and the like, I will have copies available for purchase at the BLUE show as well the shows that follow. The songs on "the.ist" were written and recorded entirely in the month of June. I've posted a couple of the songs from "the.ist" on my myspace page. (The URL is http://www.myspace.com/justineffable .)The song titles are "Seaweeds & Jellies" and "The Ascetic". "the.ist" should be available on CD Baby within the next month.

Also, "Pure Land," one of the songs from "the.ist," will be aired on MBPN during the program "In Tune By Ten" this Sunday, August 24th. The program is two hours long, and the local segment starts at 11:00AM Eastern.

The other upcoming shows are on Wednesday, September 10th, at the Dogfish Bar & Grille in Portland and then Sweet Leaves Tea House in Brunswick on October 11th. Again, if you can make it, it would be wonderful to have the chance to play for you.
